The Ashby Avenue project focuses on bringing living space to the outdoors while creating a sense of serenity and comfort in a smaller outdoor space. An elevated deck was constructed to create the outdoor living area, and is defined by the water feature and fireplace perpendicular to it.

The calming noise of flowing water creates a peaceful outdoor experience to sit out and read a book during the day, while being accompanied to an array of Saw Palmetto’s and a variety of succulents above the feature. The fireplace perpendicular to the calming water feature creates a good connection to the yard, and keeps users comfortable on the deck on cool winter evenings.

To bring even more home amenities outside, an outdoor kitchen with a pizza oven was brought to the backyard as well. The outdoor kitchen is constructed of eroded Corten steel structure, and stainless steel surfaces and amenities in it.
