This incredible home in Spanish Oaks allowed us to have complete freedom of design with this project. The front of the home is complimented by steel retaining walls holding Lomandra Breeze grasses as the steel disappears into the earth. The entry sequence upon arrival invites residents and guests into a courtyard with Palo Verde’s, Star Jasmine, and Wooly Stemodia in a steel planter, while creating an axis for entry at different points to the property .

The backyard of the Yaupon Holly home features an infinity pool, with two-inch matte black ceramic tile that mirrors the water and overflows onto black river rock, sticking with the homes “Stealth Mode” theme placed throughout. A series of terraces turf steps take users up to a fire pit aligned above the pool, where there is a succulent arrangement along the fire with Ghost-plant, Ice-plant, Mexican Sedum, Golden Barrel Cactus, and Blue Glow Agave’s.

The seamless entry and open-air plan allowed for us to create a strong connection of different programmatic elements throughout the property, while complimenting the interior of the home with our detailed landscaping.
