From our first consultation with the client, we work with you through the preliminary design phase all the way to the end of construction. Our construction phase includes hardscapes, pergolas and terraces, water features and pools, outdoor kitchens, fireplaces, lighting, irrigation systems, and plantings!

We manage the whole process which allows us to communicate with each member in each stage of the process so that the work is done right the first time by skilled people who've been carefully selected to build our designs. That provides you an easier process and an extraordinary value.

We begin our design process with a phone consultation with the client to discuss the scope of work and goals of the project. All of our designs are collaborations between our clients and designers, defining a vision of the space and its purpose and future for the property. We specialize in integrating specialized hardscapes with native and adapted plantings and ecology. We always make it a priority to minimize water usage and maintenance while creating a sustainable landscape that will flourish here in Central Texas.

After our initial meeting, you will receive a design contract and fee based on your project goals and our scope of work. The average range for a master landscape design plan will be $2,400-$22,000. Our design process begins with an analysis of the site to create a comprehensive understanding of what we are working with and how to tackle the site head-on. All of our projects' initial design fee depends on the basis of what the client is willing to spend. For smaller projects, we can provide a walkthrough and estimate without a design fee. On larger, more hands-on projects, we create a detailed design proposal that includes topography, existing trees, drainage, privacy screening from neighboring properties, and sun paths, in order to design a space that fits the environment and clients expectations. Our preliminary design phase takes 2-3 weeks with usually 1-2 design iterations.

Toward the end of design completion, our team compiles an estimate to get moving on landscape construction. Typically landscape construction budgets range from 10%-40% of the value of your property. We always consider that value in our master plan and want to match the level of your home in the exterior spaces. Sometimes people choose to do a project all at once and sometimes it makes more sense to phase it out (we can help to determine the most cost-effective way to phase things if you go that route). We have a $45,000 minimum for a phase I installation. Our team is composed of trusted gardeners, welders, masons, irrigation specialists, lighting specialists and carpenters to ensure that your project is executed with care, thought and an artful eye.
